Brief Description of Services
The Tuel Center program is designed to fill the gap between supervised placement and independent living by teaching independent living skills with a “hands-on” approach. “We at the Tuel Center are committed to learning and working together through education, role-modeling, and mutual respect. Our goal is to shape today’s youth into tomorrow’s successful adult.”
Employment Skills Development:

- Meal Preparation
- Housekeeping
- Budgeting
- Time Management
- Self-Preservation
- Community Resource training
Therapeutic Services:
- Clinical Evaluation
- Supportive Counseling
- Individual Counseling
- Medication Management
- Drug/Alcohol Education
Case Management Services
Admission Criteria:
18-20 year old male or female in DHHR custody under a voluntary FC 18 agreement.
Willingness and motivation to participate in the Tuel Center program.
Physically able to participate in the Tuel Center program.
